Hexeon

What this site stores on your device

This site stores nothing on your device. No cookie, no local storage, no tracker, no pixel. No script runs in your browser while you read these pages, because there are none to run.

That is why you see no consent banner. There is no consent to ask for: the question does not arise, rather than having been answered.

This is a build constraint, not an intention

The rule is checked every time the site is built, not held by habit. The build fails if a page contains a script tag of any kind, and it fails if a page pulls a font from a third-party server. Our fonts are served from this site and never from a CDN: a font fetched from somebody else would hand them your IP address on every visit.

No embedded video, no social button, no map, no form hosted elsewhere. Nothing you load here comes from any domain but this one.

What the server records anyway

Like every web server, the one that sent you this page writes the request to its access log: the page asked for, the time, and your IP address. That is not a cookie and nothing is stored on your device, but it is data about you, and saying "nothing" without mentioning it would be dishonest.

Those logs exist to run and protect the server. They are kept briefly and are not used to follow you from page to page.

The game is a different matter

This page is about the site. The Hexeon game is served from a different domain, and it does need a session cookie: without one it cannot tell that you are signed in. Splitting the two across separate domains is deliberate, and one effect of it is that no game cookie is reachable from this site.

What the game keeps, and why, is in the privacy policy.

If this ever changes

This page changes first, not afterwards. On the day something is stored on your device, it will be written here: what it is, what it is for, and how long it lasts. A banner appearing without this page having changed would be a defect rather than an update.
